Bio I am a Healthcare Career Liaison for Surry Yadkin Works, and I serve the Yadkin County and Elkin City school systems. I am a Yadkin County native and received my B.A. degree in Sociology from Salem College and my M.A. in Higher Education leadership from Appalachian State University. I love working with students and have well over a decade of teaching and advising experience. I am an alumnus of Surry Community College and am passionate about sharing the educational opportunities offered by the community college system.
I like to spend her free time traveling, reading and spending time with my family. I am married, have 2 sons, and 3 amazing grandkids.
