Bio
I serve as Director of Work-Based Learning and Apprenticeships at Surry Community College. I coordinate SCC’s academic Work-Based Learning program by partnering with local businesses to develop internship opportunities for students across all of the college’s program areas. I am a graduate of Surry Community College and a graduate of East Carolina University where I earned a B.S. degree in Business Education. I am a Global Career Development Facilitator and Certified Assessor for Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and DISC Behavior Style Indicator. I work to develop and expand apprenticeships for youth, adult, and incumbent workers. I support student pre-apprentices and apprentices through academic advising, program of study plan development, and resource identification.
